About Me

Jonathan Ng

Hi! I am a computer science student graduating from the University of California, Irvine in 2023. Prior to transferring, I earned my AS in Engineering and Technology from Pasadena City College. In Summer 2021, I was involved with many technical opportunities, including my internship with Down!, a social media startup, and my scholastic participation in the Snap Engineering Academy. As a result, I learned many skills within full-stack web and mobile development with HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, React Native, Firebase, and Firestore.

I am actively seeking more internship opportunities, with a preference for full-stack web and mobile development, mobile OS development, or AI/machine learning. I am also eager to broaden my perspective to learn about other fields such as VR/AR and data analysis.

I love computer science because I recognize that computers of all sizes have become a crucial part of people's lives. I want to be able to further the ways these digital tools can make life easier, simpler, and happier. I've seen how today's world is more convenient and connected than ever before. I want to be part of the reason tomorrow's world is even better.

If my skills or enthusiasm can help you, please do not hesitate to reach out on LinkedIn or by email. Thanks for reading!

At Pasadena City College...

I led as Vice President the Society of Women Engineers and She.Codes, two distinct organizations with the shared goal of bridging the gender gap in STEM. I love eating dim sum, drinking boba, riding roller-coasters, dancing and watching scary movies.

I have always been fascinated by how technology makes nearly all aspects of life easier. I enjoy learning about innovations in mobile devices, playing computer games and solving complex problems with digital solutions. These interests, combined, shaped my passion for Computer Science.
